A roller set is a different craft from a blow-dry. The set is built wet, section by section, and the shape comes from how the hair is wound and where it sits while it dries. Done well it holds for days and it moves like real hair rather than sitting stiff.
This is one of the services Rene is asked for most, and a large part of her week is standing appointments: the same time, the same chair, every week or every other week. Clients who have been coming for years do not have to explain what they want.
If you are somewhere in between, she also does straightforward blowouts, soft curl and wave, and finishing for an event you have coming up.
No price list, because it depends on your hair. Rene quotes you before she starts.

- Can I book a standing weekly appointment?
- Yes, and many of Rene's clients do. Call or text her and she will find a regular slot that works, then hold it for you.
- How long will a roller set hold?
- Usually several days, and often the better part of a week depending on your hair and how you sleep on it. Rene can show you how to protect it overnight.
- What is the difference between a roller set and a blowout?
- A roller set is wound wet and set under the dryer, so the shape is built into the hair and tends to last longer. A blowout is dried and shaped with a brush, which is faster and gives a smoother, softer finish.
- Do you do styling for events?
- Yes. Blowouts, curls and finishing before a wedding, a reunion, a portrait session, or anything else you want to look right for.
