Rene styles for whatever you are walking into. A blowout before a night out, soft waves for photographs, something sleek for an interview, or a full set with real body when you want it to last. Thirty years means she can look at how your hair actually behaves, wet, and know where it needs volume and where it needs to be taken down.
She also does classic roller sets, and does them properly, which is worth knowing because a lot of stylists never learned. If that is what you want, ask for it. If it is not, it is one option among many.
No price list, because it depends on your hair. Rene quotes you before she starts.

- How long will a blowout last?
- Usually a few days, and longer if your hair is not especially fine. Rene will show you how to protect it overnight so you get the most out of it.
- Can you style for a specific event?
- Yes. Weddings, graduations, reunions, portraits, interviews, a night out. Tell her what you are going to and how long you need it to hold, and she will style for that rather than to a formula.
- Do you do roller sets?
- Yes, and properly. A roller set is wound wet and set under the dryer, so the shape is built into the hair and tends to hold longer than a brush blow-dry. It is one of the things she offers, not the whole of what she does.
- Can I book a standing appointment?
- Yes, if you would like the same slot every week or every few weeks. Plenty of clients prefer to just call when they need her, which is completely fine too.
- What is the difference between a blowout and a set?
- A blowout is dried and shaped with a brush, which is faster and gives a smoother, softer finish. A set is wound wet, so it builds more structure and body and tends to last longer. Rene will tell you which suits your hair and what you are after.
